Lila M. Allen

Mrs. Lila M. Allen, age 89 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at Camden Healthcare. Her funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Collier to officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Lila M. Allen was born on February 3, 1931 in Litchfield, Illinois to the late Jessie Bernard Sammons and the late Ruby Fox Sammons. She married Thomas O. Allen and he preceded her in death in 1970. Lila is survived by her daughter: Charolette (Charles) Barnes of Henry, TN; sons, Eric (Kaye) Gilbreth and Jeffrey (Rhonda Brooks) Allen all of Paris; grandchildren, Darryl Barnes, Michelle Barnes, Lauren Gilbreth, Brian (April) McIntire, Jason McIntire, Cindy Dameron and Stacey (Phillip) Wall; great-grandchildren, Jillian (Dylan McNutt) Barnes, Karlie (Greg Clark) Barnes, Emily Arnold, Bryson McIntire, Lauren McIntire, Ashton Wall, Mason Dameron and Abby Dameron; great-great-grandchildren, Khloie, Carter and Connor Sipes and Maddox, Miles and Milo Clark; step-daughter, Joyce (Sammy) Webb of Camden; step-son, Tommy Allen of Buchanan; step-grandchildren, Angie (Woody) Case; and longtime special friend, Sue Turbeville of Paris. Besides her parents and husband, Lila is also preceded by her son, Raymond McIntire; grandson, Darrin Barnes; sister, Twila Helt; brothers, Floyd, Bernard, Ronnie and Donald Sammons.
