Mrs. Lillian Mizell Comer, age 95, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Mitchusson of Nance Church of Christ of Alamo and Bro. Erik Davis of Blood River Church of Christ of Buchanan to officiate. Burial will follow in VanDyke Grove Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service at McEvoy. Lillian Mizell Comer was born in Henry County, Tennessee on March 21, 1924 to the late Thomas D. Mizell and the late Elsie Mae Cole Mizell. She married James Brent Comer on November 8, 1942 and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1999. Lillian is survived by her daughters, Linda (Charles) Clark of Paris and Brenda (Bill) Mitchusson of Jackson, TN; sons, Jimmy (Barbara) Comer of Fairview, TN and Tommy (Jamie) Comer of Harvest, AL; grandchildren, Chuck (Jennifer) Clark, Joey (Sonya) Clark, Benjy Clark, Melinda (Erik) Davis, Amy (John) Bacon, Emily (Jay) Dwight, Rachel (Sean) Evans, Heather (Steve) Young, Allison Comer, and Scott (Alex) Comer; great grandchildren, Porter, Joseph, and Morgan Clark; Dalton and Barrett Davis; Scarlett, Mitchell, Nicholas, and Savannah Bacon; Hensley, Emma, and Kaitlyn Dwight; Ava, Eli, and Owen Evans; Katharine, Hannah, Riley, and Elizabeth Young; Britton, Kendal, and Graham Comer. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Comer is also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Mae Mizell who died in infancy and brothers, Earl and Bill Mizell.
