Lillian McCall Orr, age 105, formerly of Paris, TN, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. Funeral service 11:00AM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Martin of First United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Walker Cemetery. Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation 9:00AM until service time Thursday. She was born December 7, 1910 in Como, TN to the late Bruce and Lucile Mitchum McCall. On April 18, 1942 she married Lytton Louis Orr, he preceded June 12, 1977. Survived by her sister, Ada Ruth Olive, Sevierville, TN, formerly of Paris where they had lived as next door neighbors for many years on Trading Post Road. She is also survived by a niece: Joan Britton, Sevierville, TN; nephews: George Olive, Stockbridge, GA, Steve Janes, Paris, TN, Lynn Orr, Dyersburg, TN. Preceded by a sister: Betty Janes; niece: Gail Ellis and a nephew: Ted Janes. Mrs. Orr was a graduate of E.W. Grove High School. She formerly worked at the Mitchum Company and later worked as a cashier until retirement with Spector Freight Company in Milan, TN. She attended Oak Hill Union Church as a child and later attended First United Methodist Church for many years. Lillian was known to her family as their historian. She enjoyed keeping a journal, loved flowers, bird watching and feeding the Cardinals. Memorials may be to: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
