Linda E. Ball, age 73 of Whitlock passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at AHC of Paris. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Gallimore of TVCC officiating. Burial will follow in Birds Creek Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are, Bill Wolf, John Higdon, Bobby Delaney, Joe Waddell, Steve Page and Michael Page. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at 2:00. Linda Carolyn Ball was born October 15, 1948, in Henry Co., TN to the late Ivan Eldridge and the late Bernice Stewart Byrd. On December 24, 1965, she married Robert Ball and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2020. Linda worked taking care of the elderly and people in need of assistance. Linda is survived by her daughter, LeAnn Ball of Whitlock; two grandchildren: William Bussey of Whitlock, two sisters: Shirley Evans of Paris, TN, and Sara Cohoon of Murray, KY; and her brother, Robert Eldridge (Tamara) of Paris, TN. Besides her parents and husband, Linda was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dena Ball; and a sister, Carlene Norton. Visitation McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc.
