Linda Sue Lamb Nance Orawczyk, age 92 of Puryear, TN passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be graveside at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28th at Oak Grove Cemetery in Puryear with burial to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM, Thursday, at McEvoy Funeral Home before leaving for the graveside service. Pallbearers for Ms. Orawczyk will be John Barrett, Andrew Barrett, Daniel Clements, Justin Stokes, Cody Perkins, Ethan Munn, and Jaxon Williams. Linda Sue Lamb Nance Orawczyk was born September 1, 1931, in Bell City, KY to the late Lois Dennis Lamb and the late Mary Lou West Lamb. On July 30, 1949, she married W.D. "Billy" Nance and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1991. She then married Joseph Orawczyk in November of 1994 and he survives in Puryear. Ms. Linda was a lifelong resident of the Hico and Jones Mill communities. She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ. She was known to be a very devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her husband, Linda is also survived by two daughters: Suzanne (Bobby) Barrett of Cottage Grove, TN, and Bobbie Lyn (Mike) Medling of Greenfield, TN; two sons: Tony (Peggy) Nance, Puryear, TN and Rex (Amy) Nance of Franklin, TN; sister, Peggy Ann Newsome of Cold Water, KY; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Besides her parents and first husband, Linda was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Nance Williams; two sisters: Mary Lois Sparks and Crystall Lamb; and four brothers: Clayton, Stayton, Billy B., and Dennis Lamb.
