Linda J. Younger, 69, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock. She was born Wednesday, May 14, 1952, in Paris, a daughter of the late Chesley (Tuck) Younger and Bertha Hamilton Younger. Linda was a loving homemaker and spent many years of service at Henry County Medical Center and Henry County Healthcare Center as a dietary aide. She enjoyed writing poetry and creating various types of art. Linda was a tremendously strong woman, who was devoted to her family and children. She was hard-working and tenacious and would help no matter what the situation or her condition. Linda will be sorely missed by all those she has touched. She is survived by two loving daughters, Sherry (James) Norwood of Paris and Hope (Justin) Johnson of Paris; one son, Charles Freeland of Medina; one brother, Jim Younger of Indiana; one sister, Margaret Lingenfelter of Paris; eight grandchildren, Taylor Norwood, Addison Norwood, Paisley Johnson, Hadley Johnson, Bryce Freeland, Channing Freeland, Riley Freeland, and Nicholas Muncy; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Ligon and Rachel Conger; two brothers, Richard Younger and Tommy Younger. The body is to be cremated and the family will hold a memorial at a later date.
