Funeral service for Mrs. Godwin will be 10:30 AM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Phillips officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Larry Wilson, Bill Saylor, David Allbritton, James Earl Paschall, Paul Villaflor and Robert Denham. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 Wednesday. She was born Augsut 12, 1916 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late William Allen Tharpe and Bertha Ann Martin. She married Henry Dale Godwin August 26, 1934, he preceded September 14, 1987. Survived by daughters: Ann Denham, Sacramento, California, Fay (John) Snyder, Somers, Connecticut; half-brother: Don Wallace Oliver, Moscow, Tennessee; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded by a son: Gary Lamar Godwin, July 16, 1970 and a son-in-law: Walter Denham. Lois was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
