Lyle Bucy, age 89 of Routon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Christian Care of McKenzie. His graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Foundry Hill Community of Christ Cemetery with Gary Collier officiating. Burial will follow and no visitation is scheduled prior to the graveside service. Lyle Bucy was born July 9, 1931 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late William Henry Bucy and the late Kennie Mae Sykes Bucy. On October 26, 1962 he married Joy Ross Bucy and she survives in Routon, TN. Mr. Bucy was a bus driver for the Henry County School System for 40 years and he was a self-employed painter for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force. Along with his wife, Mr. Bucy is also survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann Wade of Paris, TN; two sons: Jeff (Cricket) Bucy and Chris Bucy, all of Paris, TN; two grandchildren: Bella Bucy and Ava Bucy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including Sam Conger. Besides his parents, Mr. Bucy was also preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley York and Bobbie Brown; and five brothers: Len, Leon, Milton, Billy and James Bucy. Pallbearers for Mr. Bucy will be Jeff Bucy, Chris Bucy and Bobby Wade.
