Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. John Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery. Pallbearers to be family members. Visitation 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. prior to service. She was born in Palano, MS to the late J.S. Gooch and Bertie Robertson Gooch. On November 14, 1936 she married Ralph D. McCoy who preceded her in death on May 31, 2004. She is survived by daughters Evelyn (Terry) Leonard, Greeneville, TN, Rebecca (Jim) Cathey, Germantown, TN; Sons, David (Joyce) McCoy, Buchanan, TN, Douglas (Sheila) McCoy, Maryville, TN; Brothers, Mike (Margo) Gooch, Clewiston, FL, Billy (Meryle) Gooch, Paris, TN. She is survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren as well. Preceded by a son, Steve McCoy on February 1, 2013; Sisters, Shirley Lankford, Sara Frances Lawson and Mae Denton; Brothers, Joe, Robert, Richard and Jackie Gooch.
