Madge H. Conyers, age 100 of Springville, TN passed away on Sunday May 18, 2014 at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. James Smith of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church to conduct. Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday after 11:00 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Conyers is survived by her daughter: Mary (James) Craig, Springville, TN and her grandson: Mark Hemphill, Paris, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents: Asa Carl Hoofman and Myrtle Porter Hoofman; by her husband Reece Conyers; daughter: Ruth Hemphill; three sisters: Gladys Hill, Vivian Dowdy and Laura B. Hall; and her brother: Thomas Hoofman. Madge was a long time member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and a Homemaker. She worked at the Clippard and Holley Carburetor Plants both formerly of Paris. Madge also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
