Marcia Clendenin, age 80 of Paris, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at her residence. A private family graveside service was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating and burial followed. Marcia Clendenin was born October 12, 1940 in Paris, Tennessee to the late William Gibson Cheek and the late Mattie Lee VanCleave Cheek. On December 8, 1969 she married Jimmy Clendenin and he survives in Paris, Tennessee. Marcia was a member of First Christian Church in Paris and she was an avid soccer fan. Besides her husband, Marcia is also survived by Jamie (Devlin) Clendenin of Marigold, MS; son-in-law, Jack Winters of Buncombe, IL; four grandchildren: Misty (Mark) Mezo, Jimmy (Christy) Winters, Ian Clendenin, and Zoe Clendenin; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Rosie (Jerry) Atkins of Jonesboro, GA and May Wiggins of Clarksville, TN; one brother, Keith (Cindi) Cheek of Springville, TN;and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Winters; a son Van Clendenin; and a brother, Danny Cheek.
