Graveside service 1:00PM Saturday February 16, 2013 at Walker Cemetery with Dr. Rob Martin and Bro. Paul Veazey officiating. Visitation Friday February 15, 2013 4:00 - 8:00PM and 11:00 - 12:30PM Saturday prior to the graveside service. Survived by a son Paul W. (Jackie) Sykes, Deltona, FL and a sister Dorothy Veazey Gordon, New York. Preceded by her parents Joseph Taylor and Eunice Verner Tyler Veazey and a sister Jane Veazey Sturdivant. Margaret was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church and was UMW President for four years. She was a teacher and librarian and had attended Murray State Teachers College. Active member of the Quota Club and a twelve gallon blood donor. She was an active organizer of the Veazey reunions in the county and attended national reunions as well.
