Margie Scott passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Spring Creek Nursing Facility. She is survived by her husband, Priestly Scott of Puryear, Tennessee; daughters, Charlotte (Robert) Chilcutt of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Sandra J. (William) Smith of Calvert City, Kentucky; sons, Joe D. Scott of Murray, Kentucky and Mark Scott of Paris, Tennessee; a brother, James Parish of Pensacola, Florida; by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her parents, O.L. Parish and Alice Gilbert Parish; sister-in-law, Wanda Parish; two half-brothers. Mrs. Scott's funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Lance Cordle of the Calvert City Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will take place at a family cemetery on Mount Sinai Road in Puryear, Tennessee. Mrs. Scott's visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. and again on Tuesday after 10:00 A.M. until service time.
