Funeral service 10:00AM Thursday, Graveside at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Mike, Phillip, Scott and Kevin Smith and Skylar Haley. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Valentine and Ron Haley. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday. Mrs. Kennon was born in Stewart County, TN to the late William E. and Amanda V. Butler Wall. She married James Wade Kennon April 1967 he preceded October 9, 1993 and was formerly married to Murray R. Chenoweth, preceded 1963. She is survived by a daughter: Charlyne (Frank) Valentine, Paris, TN; son: James R. (Barbara) Chenoweth, Big Sandy; one sister and one brother; grandchildren: Steve (April) Smith, Mike Smith, Phillip (Eva) Smith, Scott (Crystal) Smith, Teresa (Ron) Haley, Chonda Chenoweth and Jaime (Peter) Patel; numerous great and great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by a daughter: Betty Sue Chenoweth; four sisters and four brothers. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Loved fishing, playing cards and traveling to Louisville, Ky.
