Marilyn A. Becker, age 83 of Springville passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at McKenzie Healthcare & Rehab Center. Her celebration of life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Peevyhouse officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at 2:00. Marilyn A. Becker was born February 24, 1936 in Heyworth, Illinois to the late Earl Tague and the late Irene Cox Tague. On January 30, 1960 she married Leland Max "Scorch" Becker and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1994. Ms. Becker is survived by three daughters: Pamela Becker of Knoxville, and Revita (James) Krezinski and Tammy O'Rourke both of Paris; three sons: Greg (Rose) Garren of Decatur, IL, Bruce (Robin) Becker of Fairhope, AL and Steve (Trish) Becker of Troy, TN; two brothers: Marvon (Patsy) Tague and Moe (Donna) Tague both of Decatur, IL; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alberta Tague; and special friend, Priscilla Dettmer. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Becker was also preceded in death by four sisters and eight brothers. Marilyn Becker loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and riding in the country. Visitation McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc.
