Memorial graveside service 11:00AM Friday at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN with Pastor Christopher Rollins officiating. She was born in Elgin, IL to the late Edgar and Ruby Herrin. Survived by a daughter: Lori Jean Thomas and fiance' James Brown, Ocean Springs, MS; son: Steven Block, Gulfport, MS; sister: Jean Herrin, Paris, TN; uncle: Carl G. Helman, Portage, MI and several cousins and friends. Ms. Block had been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1954 and had worked at Wal-mart on Hwy 49 in Gulfport for approximately 20 years.
