Service to be conducted later in Forrest City, AR. She was born in Walls, MS to the late Tom H. and Beverly McKnight Tarver. In 1938 she married Hugh C. day, Sr., he preceded January 19, 2010. Survived by a daughter-in-law: Betty Day, Springville, TN; son: Tom (Pam) Day, Broomfield, CO; brother: Tom (Helga) Tarver, Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded by a son Hugh Day, Jr., June 10, 2011 and a sister Mary Tarver Megel. Mrs. Day was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis and she loved to travel.
