Mrs. Martha Helen Simmons Nichols, age 77, Paris, TN, died Wednesday at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, Graveside at Bethesda Cemetery where whe will be buried. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:40 PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home. She was the widow of O.C. Nichols, Jr, who preceded April 12, 1993. They were married April 13, 1952. She is survived by a son, O.C. Nichols, III, Paris, and was preceded by a son, Robert Roy Nichols, Agusut 1974. She is also survived by sister, Bonnie Bowers, Birmingham, Al, sister-in-law, Lois Simmons, Dresden, TN and preceded by two half-sisters, Thelma Doherty and Georgia Hill. Survived by brothers, Robert J. (Sandra) Simmons, Crossville, TN, Junior D. (Sylvia) Simmons, Sharon, TN, and preceded by half-brother, Gaylon A. Simmons. Grandchildren, Bethany (Cole) Nichols Edwards, Buchanan, TN and Britney Lynn Nichols preceded in 1994.
