Martha L. Nick, age 83 of Paris, TN passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Her memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ in Greenfield, TN, 3191 Hwy 124, Greenfield, TN 38238. Martha L. Nick was born September 1, 1938, in Ridgely, TN to the late M.C. Collins and the late Sallie Jane Chesser Collins. On March 6, 1985, she married Eugene Robert "Gene" Nick and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2004. According to her family, Martha was the best loving and caring mother God ever created. She had a loving and giving heart and she loved all of her family. Martha had to work hard to provide for her three children and now she is in the arms of God. No more pain nor sorrow. Martha is survived by two daughters: Angie Brown of Paris, TN and Candice (Jeremy) Jones of Huntingdon, TN; one son, Danny (Jill) Hearod of Paris, TN; five grandchildren: Richie Papaleo, Stevie Papaleo, Michele Kendall, Martha Smith, and Kelly Ann Jackson; seventeen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Martha was also preceded in death by two brothers: Clyde Wesley Collins and Clarence Collins.
