Funeral service 11:00AM Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jenna Goggins of the First Presbyterian Church and Stefan Gerville-Reache her grandson officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 10:00AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. She was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Irving Lawrence and Ann McComb Spencer. On February 1, 1947 she married Edward William Laird, he preceded September 25, 2010. Survived by daughters: Ann (Loic) Gerville-Reache, Dickson, TN, Margaret (Alan) Camp, Bethlehem, GA; sons: Chae (Beverly) Laird, Birmingham, AL, Grant (Debbie) Laird, Puryear, TN, Price (Emily) Laird, Lawrenceville, GA; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Laird was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Paris. She was a member of the Quota Club, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Marthas of the First Presbyterian Church in Paris.
