Funeral service Friday 10:00 AM at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens of the Sulphur Well Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Haymes Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are: Mike Garner, Don Norwood, Ernest Flowers, Andrew Flowers, Walter Flowers and Bobby Flowers. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday until service time. She was born August 26, 1918 in Manleyville, TN to Walter Crawford and Mary D. Fryer Flowers, both preceded. On August 16, 1943 she married Freeman Norwood, he preceded February 15, 2005. Survived by a sister: Curlie Ann (Robert) Engdahl, Villa Park, IL; one brother: W.C. Flowers, Springville, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by one brother: William Robert Flowers, Sr. Mrs. Norwood was a Methodist by faith. She graduated from Springville High School and worked for 32 years with Southern Bell Telephone Company as an operator.
