Funeral service 2:00 PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Larry Conger and Marty Arnold officiating, burial will follow at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers. Visitation 12:30 PM until time of service Wednesday. She is survived by her mother: Pauline "Polly" Robinson Conger, Henry County, TN; brothers: Larry (Sharon) Conger, Richard (Rhonda) Conger, both of Paris, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by her father: James Robert Conger; a son: Samuel Josiah Butler; sister Joyce Conger Bennett and two brothers: Paul and Jimmy Conger. Ruth was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. She attended Henry County High School. She lost her fight with cancer.
