Mary Katherine Smith Jackson, age 94, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held graveside, 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Dusty Stout officiating. Burial will follow services and family members will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Mary Katherine Smith Jackson was born in Paris, Tennessee on February 20, 1926 to the late Archie Smith and late Magalene Tucker Smith. She was married to James H. Jackson for over 50 years and he preceded her death June 7, 2008. She is also survived by her son, Paul and his wife Susan Jackson of Camden, Tennessee and her grandson, Kyle Jackson also from Camden as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Besides her parents and husband, Mary Katherine is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Foust and her brother, Billy Smith. Mary Katherine was a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed antiques, often refinishing and restoring in earlier years. She was also a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchild.
