Ms. Mary Ann McQueen Jones, age 74 of Henry, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 2, 2022 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastors Richard and Terri Dakin of the First Church of the Nazarene in Paris officiating. Burial will follow the service in West Wood Pentecostal Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Devin Western, Daniel Western, Nick Wilson, David Owens, Kevin Campbell, and Raymond Western.
Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Sunday after 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Mary Ann McQueen Jones was born December 5, 1947 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Cheyenne and the late Rose Crane. She is survived by her fiance` Lonnie "Crash" Pinlkenton of Henry; daughters, Tammy (Robert) Keener of Henry and Rose Collins of St. Louis, Missouri; son, Raymond Western and fiance` Angela Suratt of Henry; sisters, Joann (Tom) Freeland and Agnes Carroll both of Paris; grandchildren, David Owens, Tashia Owens, Daniel Western, Paige Wilson, Devin Western, Candace Hill, Sandra Hendrick and Christina Scott; also by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Besides her parents, Ms. Jones is also preceded in death by a son, Tim McQueen, grandson, Dylan Western and by her brother-in-law, Jerry Carroll.
Mary Ann was a Christian by faith who attended and volunteered her time at First Nazarene Church in Paris. She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, playing her scratch-offs, fishing, along with arts and crafts. She was well known for her cooking, most especially her squirrel or chicken and dumplings. Mary Ann was a very kind and loving lady who adored her children and grandchildren.
