Memorial service 2:30PM Sunday October 27, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Paris with Bro. Kenneth Jessee of Sedalia, KY officiating. Burial took place Monday October 21, 2013 at Memorial Cemetery. She was born in Paris to the late James William and Betty Rhodes Sweeney . On October 28, 1945 she married Bernard K. Marshall, he preceded October 24, 2008. Survived by daughters; Linda Harden, Paris, Nancy Marshall Southaven, MS; sister: Laverne France, Paris; grandchildren: Richard (Erica) Harden, Paris, Derek (Crystal) Marshall, Southaven, MS, Brett (Jennifer) Marshall, Southaven, MS; great-grandchildren: Trevor Marshall, Alyssa Marshall, Thomas Marshall, Carly Bennett, Matt Bennett, Miles Bennett; seven nieces and nephews. Preceded by a son: Glen Dale Marshall, sisters: Christine Foust and Rheudine Calk. Mary Sue had been a minister's wife and had worked at Woolworth's formerly of Paris. She loved yard work and kept an immaculate lawn. It was said that she also worked on her neighbor's yards if they didn't measure up.
