She was born in Henry County,TN to the late Edward F. and Lillian Edward Crawford Lewis. She married James Durward McDaniel December 31, 1939, he preceded February 10, 1988. Survived by a daughter: Patricia Lynn Bratton, Paris; sons: Kenneth Edward McDaniel, James Walter McDaniel, Paris; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special friend: Tamra Rick, Paris. Preceded by a son-in-law: Charles Bratton and a brother: Walter T. Lewis. Mrs. McDaniel was a former member of Gum Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
