Mrs. Mary Ludene Perry Owen, of Paris Tennessee, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Pastor Tammy Blankenship, of Lebanon United Methodist Church officiating; burial will follow in Wright Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Saturday; after 12:00 P.M. on Sunday until service time. Mrs. Owen was born on October 25, 1923 in Paris, Tennessee to the late James Walter Perry and Ora Lee Hicks Perry. On April 24, 1948 she was united in marriage to Harold Ray Owen, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2010. She is survived by daughter: Gayle Reed, of Paris, TN; grandchildren: Ross (Tracie) Reed, Paris, Tennessee; Robyn (Rick) Tumlin, Acworth, Georgia; great-grandchildren: Rick Tumlin, Jr., Reed Tumlin, Rebekka Reed, Rileigh Tumlin, Rosanna Reed, Chelsea Nash, Rachel Nash; sisters-in-law: Dortha Perry and Betty Owen, both of Paris; brother: Mickie (Anita) Perry, Jackson, Tennessee; brother-in-law: Gordon Owen, Paris, Tennessee. Mrs. Owen is preceded by a daughter: Paula Lee Owen; son: Harold Ray Owen Jr.; brothers: John Wallace Perry and James Lloyd Perry. Mrs. Owen is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and is preceded by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Ludene was a longtime member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. She formerly worked at Salant & Salant and Perrys Dry Goods of Paris. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, and wonderful cook who dearly loved her family. SERVICES Funeral Service
