Mary Ann Peters, age 86 of Puryear, TN passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at Henry County Healthcare Center. Her funeral service will be graveside at 2:00 PM Friday, September 2nd at Puryear City Cemetery with Rev. Martin Orjianioke. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be private for immediate family only. Mary Ann Peters was born July 8, 1936, in Detroit, MI to the late Julia Ann Kish. She was married to the late Raymond Joseph Peters who preceded her in death on May 1, 2006. Mary Ann is survived by a daughter, Julie (Jack) Wilkins of Puryear, TN; four grandchildren: David (Lisa) Nycz, Raymond (Amanda) Strahan, Barbara (West) Whitehead, and Michael (Christie) Strahan; sister, Nancy Hathaway of Arizona; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her mother and husband, Mary Ann was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Peters on August 8, 2021.
