Funeral service 2:30PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary Collier officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Harold Bass, Jackie Hamilton, Kenny Sherrod, Emory Bradley, Chuck Lyons and Hansel McCadams. Visitation 3:00 - 8:00PM Thursday and after 11:00AM Friday. She was the daughter of the late Albert Clinton and Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Shankle Glisson. On February 13, 1937 she married Joel L. Norton, he preceded January 21, 1988. Survived by a daughter: Sarah (Dickie) Brewer, Paris, TN; granddaughter: Dawn (Robert "Bo") Richardson, Paris and Memphis, TN; great grandchildren: Elizabeth (Eric) Gallimore, Memphis, TN, Emily Richardson, Washington, DC, Rob Richardson, Memphis, TN; special caregivers: Rubye Walters, Margaret Mitchell and Kim Howell. Preceded by a daughter in infancy: Jo Beth Norton; three brothers: Harvey, Coy and Noah Glisson. Mrs. Norton attended the Primitive Baptist Church.
