Maudie McBride, age 79 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. Her memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday, after 2:00 P.M. until time of service. Maudie McBride was born February 20, 1940 in Saltville, VA to the late William Surber and the late Rosie Linda Totten. She is survived by her son, Garnett "Junior" (Sarah) Taylor of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Kayla Taylor (Cody Archer) of Paris, Lee Taylor of Greeneville, TN, Jason Underwood of Paris, Jason Underwood (Nicole Cookson) of Paris, Heather (Dale) Fair of Paris, Matt McDaniel of Paris, and Brandi McClure of Paris; nine great grandchildren; close friend Cindy Taylor; nieces and nephews, Pat (Mitch) Mitchell, Lynn (Kevin) Rhuter, Carl Sullivan, and April (Chris) Taylor. Besides her parents Maudie is also preceded in death by her daughters, Wanda Sue McDaniel and Elizabeth Underwood; son, Harold L. Surber; sister, Virginia Moss Taylor; and sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Ed Sullivan. SERVICES
