Maureen Eddy, age 79 of Paris passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Martin Orjianioke officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Hillside, IL. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with a rosary to follow. Maureen Eddy was born March 1, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward Charles Eddy and the late Laurian Marie Raab Eddy. She is survived by her partner, Eileen Markey of Paris, TN; three sisters: Marianne Guth and Laurian Baker, both of Paris and Irene (Gary) Collatz of Albuquerque, NM; and two brothers: Dennis (Gail) Eddy of San Pedro, CA and Thomas (Sheila) Eddy of Berwyn, IL. Besides her parents, Ms. Eddy was also preceded in death by a sister and five brothers. Ms. Eddy was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and she was an educator and principal in many areas including Chicago. Visitation McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc.
