Mayme Margaret Clayton, age 89 of Paris, TN, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 and Henry County Healthcare. Funeral service 12:00PM Thursday July 21, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Wimberley of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and Bro. Gary Collier of First United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation 10:00AM until service time Thursday. Margaret was born April 18, 1927 in Henry County, TN to the late Henry Elmore Sutton and Nelle Hopkins Sutton. On December 12, 1942 she married Telous William Clayton, he preceded May 2, 1995. She was also preceded by both of her sons: William Larry Clayton, February 25, 2003 and Johnny Mason Clayton, November 8, 2010. Survived by her daughter-in-law: Angela Morris Clayton, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Gary (Madonna) Clayton, Adamsville, AL, Chad (fiance' Audrey Johnson) Clayton, Clarksville, TN; great-grandson: Bryan Clayton, Puryear, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Preceded by sisters: Maxine Latimer, Ruby Moody; brothers: J.W. Sutton, Pete Sutton, Sam Sutton and Wesley Sutton. Margaret was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
