Michael Morse, age 65 of Puryear, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Thomas Hospital in Rutherford County. His body is to be cremated and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Michael Morse was born April 20, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Bob Morse and the late Gladys Brott Lundy. He married Dayle Thompson Morse on December 16, 1985 and she survives in Puryear. He is also survived by daughter, Kristina Morse (Brandon Jorgensen) of Murray, Kentucky; sons, Jeremiah Morse (Jaclyn Meholic) of Dresden, Marty Morse of Murray and Kacy Morse (Brittany Hensley) of Hazel, Kentucky; sisters, Sharon Pastana of Washington, Florence Weathers and Gloria McGinnis, of Traverse City, Michigan, Sharon Vogelsong of Ft. Myers, Florida; brothers, Tom (Karen) Thompson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Albert McGinnis of Traverse City, Michigan and James Wares of Escanaba, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Michael is also preceded in death by sister, Cleo Kuhlman and her husband, Pete; and by brothers in law, Chuck Pastana and Ed Vogelsong. Mr. Morse was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed going out on the road. He was an avid fan of drag racing and of NASCAR.
