Mr. Michael E. Robbins, age 70 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Ascension St. Thomas West in Nashville. His funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 30, 2023 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Wimberley officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow the service in Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday and again on Monday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Michael Eugene Robbins was born December 15, 1952 in Paris, TN to the late Lloyd Robbins and the late Lora Carmen Robbins. He married Jacqueline "Jackie" Ball Robbins on March 31, 1978 and she survives in Paris. Michael is also survived by his daughter, Shawna Robbins (Jon Vance) of Paris; grandchildren, Priscilla Robbins (Ryker Cathey) of Paris and Autumn Andrews (Michael Bledsoe) of Paris; great grandchildren, Luke Yon, Addison Yon, Phoebe Bledsoe, and Maddie Cathey; also nieces, Suzanne (Phillip) Baucum and Sherry Lamb; and by other family members and many special friends. Besides his parents, Mr. Robbins is also preceded in death by his brother, James "Marty" Robbins. Mr. Robbins graduated from NADC (Diesel college) and worked as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years. He retired from Goodyear in Union City. Michael was an avid music lover who enjoyed playing his steel guitar, playing pool and fishing. He loved his family and friends as well as spending time with them. It was said that he was a friend to everyone and never had an enemy.
