Michael Swor age 59 of Paris passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. His funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary Collier officiating. Burial will follow services in Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. and again on Sunday after 12:00 P.M. until service time. Mr. Swor was born on July 11, 1957 to Jewel Lee Swor and Jovanna Wynn Swor, both preceded. Mike is survived by his special friend: Cheryl Hughes of Paris; sister: Pam (Richard) VanDyke; twin sister:Patricia (Wayne) Clark, Paris; brother: Tommy (Jan) Swor; also several nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by a sister: Linda Gail Swor; brothers Richard Lynn Swor and Robert Lee Swor. Mr. Swor formerly worked as an Ironworker and a Transmission Mechanic. Mike loved his family and especially enjoyed visiting with his nieces and nephews.
