Mr. Michael Lee Thompson, age 62 of Paris passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. His body is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Michael Lee Thompson was born on April 18, 1955 in Athens, Alabama to the late Bryant Thompson and the late Auline Clem Thompson. On November 15, 1984 he married Sheila Bayless Thompson and she survives in Paris, TN. He is also survived by a daughter, April Thompson of Huntsville, AL; two sons: Delacio (Christy) Brooks of Paris, TN and Kenny Thompson of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren: Shauntea Young and Charity Brooks, both of Paris, TN; three sisters: Lynda Kennedy of Athens, AL, Judy (Doyle) Posey of Elkmont, AL and Wanda Harwell of Decatur, AL; two brothers: Curtis (Julia) Thompson of Athens, AL and Andy Thompson of Nashville, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Mr. Thompson was a certified dental technician for over 35 years. He loved playing golf, playing the guitar, and was an avid Alabama fan.
