Miriam "Mi Mi" Ann Thomas

Miriam “Mi Mi” Thomas , age 55, passed away Saturday , September 5, 2026, at her residence in Cottage Grove, TN. Her funeral service will be conducted on Saturday September 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with William Jones (former pastor of Oak Hill Church) officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM and after 10:00AM Saturday until service time.

Miriam was born December 12, 1970 in Paris, TN to the Late Richard Warmack, Dale Flood & Virginia “Chi Chi” Holtgrewe Eding. She married Dwayne Thomas April 20, 1991, he survives, Cottage Grove, TN.

She is survived by daughters: Elizabeth Thomas , Cottage Grove, TN, Laura Ann Thomas, Nashville, TN, Megan Thomas, Cottage Grove, TN, Paige Thomas (fiance’ Joshua Cramer), Paris, TN; son: Matthew Thomas Cottage Grove, TN; Brother: Michael (Julie) Flood, Paragould, AR; grandchildren: Isaiah Thomas & Luella Cramer. She is also survived by numerous aunts. uncles, other family members & friends.

She was preceded by a daughter: Ashley Flood.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of Oak Hill Union church. She worked at Paris Elementary School as well as driving a school bus for some 16 years. Miriam was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife, married to her husband Dwayne for 35 years. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune enthusiast. She enjoyed camping with and spending time with her family, but most especially enjoyed her grandbabies.
