Myron Lloyd Youngbluth, (Dean, DD) 83, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence in Paris, Tennessee. Myron was born in Wagner, South Dakota on January 22, 1938 to the late Lloyd and Genevieve Youngbluth.
Myron served his Country as a Korean War era Veteran from 1955-1958. He was assigned to an artillery unit, spending most of his service in Germany with the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Colleen Welch of Lake Andes, South Dakota. They were married June 6, 1959. Shortly after marriage Dean and family moved to California where he worked as a Union Insulator before starting his own contracting business. He retired in 2003 and moved to Paris in 2005. His body is to be cremated and he will rest in Wagner, SD. No services are scheduled at this time.
Along with his wife, Myron is survived by two sons, Brad Youngbluth of Loomis, CA and Bruce (Tristyne) Youngbluth of Hummelstown, PA. and two brothers Bill (Janet) of Paris and Jay (Linda) of Wagner, SD. Myron had six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A small private service was held for the immediate family in Paris, TN. A memorial service will be held this summer in his home town of Wagner, South Dakota where he will be placed to rest.
