Nancy Greer Bittner, age 98 of Paris passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at her residence. Her funeral service was graveside Monday, at 10:00 AM at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Big Sandy. Nancy Greer Bittner was born June 20, 1925, in Big Sandy, TN to the late Ballard Greer and the late Laura Roney Greer. On February 24, 1951, she married Arthur Bittner and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1968. Nancy is survived by her longtime best friends, Robbie McNutt (Charles Jr.) and Smantha Parker (Kyle) all of Paris. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was also preceded in death by a son, John Bittner; two sisters: Mary Beth Greer and Pauline Greer; and a brother, Gene Greer.
