Nancy Irene Glisson

Nancy Glisson, age 85, of Martin, TN, a former long-time resident of Mansfield, Henry County, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at her residence. A family graveside memorial will take place on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Rehoboth Cemetery in RoEllen, TN, following a private burial.

Nancy Irene Munro Glisson was born February 25, 1941, in Evanston, Illinois to the late John I. Munro and the late Emma H. Wallace Munro. She married Delbert D. Glisson on October 24, 1956 and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1985. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Beverly F. Glisson and Bar-Bra F. Glisson, both of Martin; her sons, Robert A. (Jennifer) Glisson of California and Rodell A. Glisson of Martin; by her grandchildren, Austin Glisson, Alex Glisson, Brandon Walker, Ayden Robison, Aubree Glisson, Tanner Robison, Reagan Glisson, Ricky Glisson, and Carl Casey; her great-grandchildren, Freya, Coraline, Cheyanne, Laseandre, Raleigh, EmmaLee, and Flynn Glisson; brothers, John Munro, Donald Munro, and Patrick Munro all of Illinois; also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Nancy is also preceded in death by her sons, Raymond A., Richard A. and Roman A. Glisson, and by her sister, Carole Franklin.

Mrs. Glisson was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and homemaker, raising many children and grandchildren. She was a Christian by faith and a very kind and giving person who was loved by all who knew her.
