Nancy L. Staton, age 82, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her residence. A private graveside service and burial is planned at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Nancy Lou Linville Staton was born December 8, 1941 in Buchanan, Tennessee to the late David Johnson Linville and the late Ava Irene Wynn Linville. She is survived by her grandchildren, John (Diana) Melton, Robert (Erica) Melton, Amanda (Josh) Guidry, and Austin (Shelbi) Melton; great-grandchildren, Garrett Melton, Baya Boudreaux, Benson Boudreaux, Grant Guidry, Mattie Guidry, Brixton Melton, and Brayden Melton; brother, Donnie (Lydia) Linville of Paris; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her parents, Nancy is also preceded in death by her son, James Kenneth Melton. Ms. Staton worked at Walmart in Paris for many years in the Layaway Department.
