Funeral service 10:00AM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. David Jackson of the Cottage Grove Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Walker Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 - 7:00PM Friday and after 9:00AM Saturday until service time. She was born in Cottage Grove, TN to the late Wilson Lewis and Mamie Moore Pennington. She married Quinton John Mabe on October 19, 1949 he preceded October 18, 1999. Survived by a son: Randy Lewis (Sharon) Mabe, Las Vegas, NV, Sherman Quinn Mabe, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Christopher Lewis Mabe, Jennifer Louise Mabe, Lisa Mabe, Sarah (Dolan) Henderson; great-grandchildren: Kieran Lane Hill, Titan Lewis Norris, Levi Henderson and Erica Henderson. Preceded by a brother: Joe Thomas Pennington, June 30, 1996. Nelle was a faithful member of the Oakley Boulevard Church of Christ in Las Vegas, NV.
