Norma Dee Cook, age 98 of Paris, TN passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at her residence. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Bruceton, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday prior to the service at McEvoy Funeral Home. Norma Dee Cook was born June 18, 1923, in Henderson Co., TN to the late Lute Alexander and the late Maudie Robbins Alexander. On November 16, 1973, she married Hershel J. Cook and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2016. Mrs. Cook was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and loved gardening. Mrs. Cook is survived by her step-daughter, Carol Ford of Cordova, TN; three step-grandchildren: Karen (Greg) Thompson, Christie McVay, and Kevin (Abby) Ford; five step-great-grandchildren; and (1) step-great-great-grandchild. Besides her parents and husband, Norma was also preceded in death by four sisters, Robbie Hancock, Bennie Reynolds, Vaughn Walp, and Joan Ballard; and two brothers: Escoe Alexander and Ruble Alexander.
