Norman O. Lane, age 80 of Paris, TN, passed away Monday November 9, 2015 at Paris Healthcare in Paris. Funeral service 1:00PM Saturday November 14, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Michael Barnhart of New Bethel Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow in Lane Cemetery in Stewart County, TN. Named as pallbearers are Tony Downs, Johnny Courtney, Eddie Taylor, Jason Johnson, Billy Courtney and Jeffery Taylor, Jr. Visitation 11:00 - 1:00PM Saturday November 14, 2015. Mr. Lane was born in Stewart County, TN to the late John Henry and Maude Lane. On December 30, 2009 he married Sarah Coleman Lane, she survives, Paris, TN. Survived by sons: Eddie (Trudie) Taylor, OH, Terry Taylor, OH, Russell (Jennifer) Coleman, Paris, TN, Scott (Tammy) Coleman, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Dawn Warren, Jeffery Taylor, Pam Johnson, Justin, Tyler, Ivy and Brice Coleman, Hunter Marrs, Jacobi Ballard; great-grandchildren: Ricky and Amanda Warren, Taylor Johnson, Julia Taylor. Preceded by wife: Ruth Whitehair Lane, March 2007, they were married October 16, 1974; a son: Jeff Taylor; two sisters and one brother. Norman was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
