Onita "Carole" Afflick age 74 of Morristown, TN formerly of Paris, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in Morristown. Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday March 19, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Simmons of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation 1:00PM until service time Saturday. She was born July 10, 1941 in Paris, TN to the late Claude Wilburn and Catherine Maudelle "Mo" McFadden Wilkins. Survived by sons: Daniel (Darla) Afflick, St. Charles, MO, Andy (Tammy) Afflick, Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren: Tyler Afflick, Cody Afflick, Mitchell Afflick, Hope Afflick and Shawn Cochran; sister; Frances A. Belt, Morristown, TN and several nieces and nephews in the Knoxville, TN area. Preceded by two brothers: Daniel Wilkins and Charles Wilkins. Carole was formerly a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris. She attended Lee elementary School, a graduate from Grove High School and attended Memphis State University majoring in the arts. Carole was a TN Vols fan, enjoyed music and dancing. A family member said that she was creative in all areas of the arts, loved her family and especially cherished her grandchildren.
