Patricia Ann Hopkins, age 77 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Henry County Healthcare Center. Her funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 2, 2023 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Wimberley to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Olive Branch Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Shane Cox, Trent Carter, Jeremy Cox, Tony Elkins, Chuck Elizondo, and Mike Lanius. Visitation is scheduled on Monday after 11:00 A.M. until time of service. Patricia Ann Cox Hopkins was born October 20, 1945 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Raymond B. Cox and the late Paytre Lillian Nichols Cox. She married William Keith Hopkins on October 17, 1965 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2019. Besides her parents and husband, Patricia is also preceded by siblings, Linda Paulette Cox and James Baxter Cox who were both stillborn and by her brothers, Ronnie Rhea Cox, Robert Wayne Cox, and Jerry Dan Cox. Patricia was a graduate of Cottage Grove High School and formerly worked as a butcher at Big L Foods and Jim Adams IGA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other family members. Patricia was also a Baptist by faith.
