Mrs. Pauline Merrell Enoch age 98 of Paris, TN passed away on Monday June 26, 2017 at the Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center. Her funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. conducted by Bro. Bobby Campbell of Central Point Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday at McEvoy from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until service. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Pauline was born on May 10, 1919 in Henry County, Tennessee to John Frank Merrell and Effie Victoria Hart Merrell who have both preceded her in death. On January 6, 1935 she married John Otis Enoch who preceded her on May 25, 1989. Mrs. Enoch leaves behind four daughters: Margaret Dunlap of Buchanan, TN, Judy (Jake) Wade of Paris, twin: Cookie Collins of Palmersville, TN and twin: Diane E. Cole of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren: James Austin (Connie) Cole, Amanda Louise Cole, Teddy D. (Opal) Wade, Kathy (Paul) Carney, Christie (Mike) Suratt, Lisa Collins Hatch (Mike) Hubbard, and Janice (Larry) Turner. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Mrs. Enoch is preceded by three sons-in-law: Louis A. Cole, Jerry Bruce Collins and Rufus Dunlap, Jr., and two grand-children: Jerry Ward Collins and Timothy Dunlap. Mrs. Enoch was a longtime member of Central Point Baptist Church and a homemaker. She worked at Salant & Salant formerly of Paris until its closing. She greatly enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially for her grandchildren. Pauline loved to laugh, pull pranks, share her stories and telling of tall tales from the good ole days. "Thank you! During a time like this we realize just how much our friends mean to us.
