Pauline Elizabeth Powers, age 95 of Paris passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at Camden Healthcare in Camden. Her body is to be cremated and a private family graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Pauline Elizabeth Powers was born September 29, 1928, in the Whitlock community of Henry County, Tennessee to the late Charles Hershel Mallard and the late Ethel M. Carter Mallard. She spent most of her adult life in Michigan as a Theater manager and working at Plymouth Motors, but she moved back to Tennessee to retire. She loved the outdoors, playing the guitar, and raising Cockatiel birds, losing her oldest bird this year. Pauline was a precious kind soul to all she met and a follower of Christ. Ms. Powers is survived by niece, Diana (Clyde) Smothers; three nephews: Joey Odom, Jimmy Odom, and Carmen (Lisa Myers) Odom; great-nieces & great-nephews: Kristie (Glen) Robertson & children, Danny (Angie) Smothers & children, Jeni Odom, Stacey Brogdon (Chris) McGrady & children, Sarah Odom, Shannon Odom, Erica Odom, and Kayla Odom & children, Jacob (Secret) Odom, and her little dog "Whistle Britches". Besides her parents, Pauline was also preceded in death by sister, Carleen Odom, stepmother, Christine Odom Dotson, stepfather Chester Wright, and nephew, Danny Odom.
