Pearl Lee Shankle, age 86, formerly of Paris, TN, died May 9, 2009 in Kalkaska, MI, where she lived. Her body was cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 18, 2009 at Antioch Cemetery in Henry County, TN. She was the widow of Rudy Shankle. She is survived by daughter, Kristy (Russ) Volz, Newman Lake, WA, sons, Dennis (Lynda) Shankle, Quinwood, West Virginia, Gary (Vicki) Shankle, East Jordan, MI, Gerald (Diane) Shankle, Kalkaska, MI, grandchildren, Heather (Tony) White, Kalkaski, MI, Dennis Shankle, Jr., FL, Greta Keranen, Chicago, IL, Alexandria Volz, Newman Lake, WA. She is also survived by a number of great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded by seven sisters and one brother.
