Peggy Sisson Steele, age 80 of Paris passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 2:00PM Monday, January 22, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dennis Inman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Union Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00PM Monday, prior to the service. Peggy Steele was born July 3, 1937 in Pinson, Tennessee to the late Cleavie Sisson and the late Lillian Murchison Sisson. On November 28, 1974 she married L.D. Steele and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Carol Milam and a step-son, Hal Steele. Peggy Steele is survived by three daughters: Janet (Dennis) Inman of Paris, TN, Melissa (Bill) Lindley of Paris, TN and Tina (Bill) Hamilton of Altus, OK; four grandchildren: Levi and Jake Soncrant of Altus, OK and Alyssa (John) Eason and Samantha (Cody) Marshall of Paris, TN; two great grandchildren: Haidyn Marshall and Abbey Eason both of Paris, TN; one sister, Bobbie (Clifford) Rouse of Jackson, TN; four step-children: Nancy Allen of Paris, Sandra (Bobby) Steele of Cottage Grove, Archie (Robbie) Steele of Paris, and Dale (Ann) Steele of Paris; and two special friends: Margarete Roseberry and Josh Moon.
